Alternative dispute resolution.​

 

If you are unfamiliar with Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), you may be asking, "An alternative to what?"  The answer is litigation. Some disputes between people, or parties, can be resolved by mediation.  Parties can choose to engage a mediator to help them find a mutually agreeable resolution to their disagreement sooner and less costly than litigation. Even if litigation has been initiated, judges can at times direct the parties to attempt mediation before going to trial.  Select the Services tab above for a more detailed explanation of mediation.​
